Dreamscape paintings are intended to:  *brighten a space or mood,  *evoke nature through gesture, and *render  emotion in order to uplift the spirit. Inspiration for the basic composition comes from an imagined and/or remembered moment. I use saturated colors to attract the eye and harmonize with bold lines for a light hearted and whimsical feel.

Mixed Media Collages are based on mark making and found objects. I add and subtract layers of color and texture, often including acrylics, oil, vintage objects and encaustic. I like to retain the imperfect character of distressed surfaces and objects whenever possible.

Assemblages reflect a recent shift in my consciousness; I'm thinking more in terms of a tangible object occupying a space rather than simply creating surfaces as I do in my collages. However, surfaces and textures remain important in my 3D work.
