Dreamscape paintings are intended to brighten a space or mood,  evoke nature through gesture, and uplift the spirit. Inspiration for the basic composition comes from imagined or remembered moments. I use saturated colors which attract the eye and harmonize with bold lines for a light hearted and whimsical feel.

Mixed Media Collages are based on mark making and found objects. I add and subtract layers of color and texture, often including acrylics, oil, vintage objects and encaustic. I like to retain the imperfect character of distressed surfaces and objects whenever possible.

Assemblages reflect my desire to make a tangible object  in a space. Surfaces and textures are central to my 3D work which I feel is an organic outgrowth of my collaged pieces.
